ia Thomas stars as “Deaf Teen 2” in “Haiku in Brooklyn” which makes its International Premiere at the CANNES Short Film Corner this summer – May 11-22, 2011!!!
This series of 32 short films are cinematic interpretations of notable Japanese haiku. Illustrious Italian commercial director, Stefano Palombi, conceived of this project after falling in love with Brooklyn, NY, where all of these ‘filmic jewels’ were shot.
Sophia was just cast in a leading role of a SAG short entitled, “The Visitor” by
Paul Cole, and she will be starring in the role of “the Visitor.” This film goes into
production March 9, 2011.
UPDATE: It’s a wrap! Sophia has wrapped shooting her leading role as “The Visitor” in THE VISITOR!
